Caroline Celico, the former spouse of renowned Brazilian and Real Madrid footballer Kaká, has opened up about the bizarre reason behind their separation after a decade-long marriage.
The childhood sweethearts, Celico and Kaká, exchanged vows in 2005 and remained together until their divorce in 2015.
Their union was blessed with two children: a son, Luca, now 15, and a daughter, Isabella, aged 12.

She said Kaká was a faithful and caring husband who provided a loving family.
However, despite being a great husband to her, Celico felt an unexplainable void. She said she was not happy.
"Kaká never betrayed me, he treated me well, he gave me a wonderful family, but I was not happy, something was missing. The problem was, he was too perfect for me," Celico said.Kaká is known to be a devout man, and during their marriage, Celico joined the decorated player's church, where she even became an evangelical pastor.
